Between 1969 and 1973, The Jane Collective operated underground in Chicago, helping over 11,000 women receive safe, illegal abortions throughout the metropolitan area, learning and performing the procedure on their own in an era that refused to make them legally available. Before disbanding in the wake of Roe v. Wade in 1973, the group operated like a spy network throughout the city and provided a necessary public service to the women of Chicago.
War Has No Eyes screened at London's InShort Film Festival 2018 this weekend, held at Canada Water Theatre. The film was part of a programme of short films and animations celebrating brave souls going out into the world, embarking on adventure and seeking independence, only to find that patterns and people reappear. It was followed by a Q&A with the director, Perry White and lead actor, Kadeem Boyce.

Independent feature film More Than Only wins Best LGBTQ Film at the 2018 Oregon International Film Festival. The debut feature film by Michelle Leigh was scored by Two Twenty Two and is a romantic comedy following the burgeoning relationship between Justin (Jonathan Miles) and Michael (Bjorn Anderson).
The film, which was also nominated for "Best Festival Feature Film" is screening at 10.00pm on Friday 21st September at Clinton Street Theater, Portland.
Feature film Ask For Jane premiered at the Hamptons International Film Festival in October 2018. With a score by Two Twenty Two, the film was directed by Rachel Carey and features a star-studded cast, including Cody Horn (Magic Mike) and Alison Wright (The Americans). Other films screening at the festival include the East Coast premiere of First Man by Academy Award-winning director Damien Chazelle and Roma by Academy Award-winning director Alfonso Cuaron.
